A recent disclosure by the transparency advocacy group CREW didn’t specify the exact amount of cryptocurrency owned by Donald Trump, but insights from the on-chain tracking platform Arkham Intelligence revealed that the former President holds Ethereum valued at $1.28 million. His portfolio also includes other tokens, such as a Trump-themed meme coin, bringing the total value to approximately $1.8 million.
The CREW documents further revealed that Trump earned about $7.15 million in NFT licensing fees through an agreement with a company called NFT INT. Additionally, Melania Trump reportedly made $330,609 from selling NFTs via the same company.
Back in 2019, Trump was openly critical of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, labeling them as “highly volatile and based on thin air.” However, his stance has shifted, with his current campaign embracing crypto and making it a central issue ahead of the November 5 Election Day. Trump recently vowed to establish a national strategic Bitcoin reserve if he wins the election.
On August 7, Trump’s sons fueled speculation with hints of a significant upcoming announcement. Donald Trump Jr. suggested on X that the announcement would “shake up” the crypto world, while Eric Trump voiced strong support for crypto and decentralized finance (DeFi), hinting at a major initiative.

Some analysts initially speculated that this development might focus on the real-world assets market. However, in an August 14 interview with the New York Post, Eric Trump clarified that the project would revolve around “digital real estate.”
Eric’s statement sparked various rumors on social media, which Donald Trump Jr. later addressed, urging people to follow updates from the project’s official Telegram channel, known as “The DeFiant Ones.”
